Planning New Transit Service for Joshua Tree National Park

December 2015   Just finished a working paper on service alternatives and costs for a proposed new transit service from Twentynine Palm and/or Joshua gateway communities into Joshua Tree National Park (JTNP) .  Circulation among key destinations within JTNP would be every 30 minutes if the pilot program is approved.  This is a collaborative effort among the Morongo Basin Transit Authority, National Park Service and City of Twentynine Palms.   Mobility Planners LLC has been retained to develop a Business Plan for the proposed new service that could start as early as October 2016.
